Tuesday notice from 2022 Crystal Charity Ball Chair Susan Farris and President of the 2022 CCB Fashion Show Jennifer Dix on the flourishing event developments with “Italian flavor” was dismissed as merely in keeping with the fashion show’s star designer, Dolce And Gabbana.

But tonight proved that it was all just an easter egg for what Susan had in mind for the theme for the 2022 Crystal Charity Ball on Saturday, December 3.

Tonight at the 2020 CCB Chair Tucker Enthovenfrom the Mediterranean estate of Preston Hollow, Susan announced the brava theme of “Splendido Italiano” presented by Tolleson Wealth Management, featuring the tenor of the Dallas Opera Zach Hess and pianist Thiago Nascimentoto the delight of the crowd that pours onto the Enthoven terrace.

And as any Italian would require, the other senses were satisfied as guests entered the dining room, where Cassandra d’Art 2 Catering had set up an Italian buffet.

But Susan wasn’t done with the Italian connection at the buffet. At the start, guests received Paciugo Gelato and a photo shoot with Vespas without Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.

And like any Italian offering, there’s so much more to feast on and enjoy the good life. Stay tuned. In the days to come there will be more delicious details and photos.
