BMW announced the 2023 3 Series this month. The reveal closely follows that of the 7 Series for the new model year. But where the new 7 was a complete overhaul, the 2023 Series 3 is less complete than an update.

For the new model year, the 3 Series will sport an exterior that is restrained, even brevity at the rear. The nose is slim with narrowed, all-pro LED headlights, and at the grille, the refreshed entry-level doesn’t get bogged down in longitudinally slatted butterflies. Refined and capable, and prioritizing simplicity over high fashion, the revised 3-Series looks fully capable of withstanding the next few years without aging prematurely.

However, where the new 3 Series really shines is inside the cabin, where the new ‘multi-sensory’ iteration of iDrive and new curved display combined vital and infotainment functions more than 27-inch BMWs have proven very effective in the updated 7 Series. headlining.
